This Wooden Robot, Winged Everlasting No 32 is special… It is made from Buckeye Burl that has been stabilized and dyed purple and black. The stabilization process turns the wood from being very light to very hard and heavy, impermeable to water or changes in the atmosphere. It will never change its shape like regular wood would do with moisture changes. The Robot itself has an Edward Scissor Hands mixed with Starry Night vibe. Its head is made from Gimlet burl with Brown mallee eyes and straw flowers. There is also straw flowers in the live edge body. The inlay pieces are red Jasper stone. This wooden robot stands just over thirteen inches tall and five inches wide. There will be a base that will be shipped with the piece that will be about three inches tall. I use entropy bio resin. This piece is not a toy and is meant to be displayed INDOORS as art.
