Myrtle No69

$1,700.00

Myrtle No69 tells a story of the ocean and the forest coming together. The body is made from Myrtle wood with reclaimed redwood burl inlay and brass rings worked throughout the piece. Its head is carved from Salmon Gum Burl, with Protea flower eyes set in front of Dichrolam that shift and glow with changing light.

The entire back is left 100% live edge, keeping the natural shape and feel of the wood intact. Nothing about it feels overly refined — it still carries the raw character of the tree.

There’s also a hidden side to this piece. Myrtle wood and Protea both react under UV light with a soft phosphorescent glow, giving Myrtle No69 an almost bioluminescent feel in the dark, like something shaped by deep forests and coastal tides.

A piece rooted equally in driftwood, salt air, and old growth forest.
